Hospital Auxiliary
The hospital Auxiliary was organized in 1972. Its goals are:
- To provide volunteer services to various departments in the hospital.
- To raise money to benefit Sanford Worthington Medical Center and/or Worthington Regional Health Care Foundation.
- To sponsor educational programs for our members at our meetings.
- To give a scholarship to a student at Minnesota West or a hospital employee who is going into or studying in a medical or health-related field.
Meetings
Auxiliary meetings are held the second Thursday of the month from September through May in the hospital’s education classroom. Coffee is served at 9:15 a.m. with the Business Meeting and program starting at 9:30 a.m. Visitors are always welcome!
Membership
Annual membership dues are$5. This is for those those members who attend meetings whenever possible and participate in the activities of the Auxiliary. Life membership dues are a one time fee of $50. Annual inactive membership dues are $5. This is for those individuals who want toreceive the auxiliary newsletter but do not wish to be calledon to volunteer.
Gift Shop
Have you had a chance to shop in the gift shop at Sanford Worthington Medical Center? If not, you are in for a real treat! Located in the lobby of Sanford Medical Center Worthington, it is a neat place to pick up gifts (for others and even yourself)! A variety of items are available to choose from including seasonal items, home décor, stuffed animals, jewelry, greeting cards, fresh flowers, and new inventory all the time! Take a few minutes to stop by and shop! It is staffed by hospital Auxiliary members. Best of all – the proceeds all go to the Hospital Auxiliary.
Gift Shop Hours
- M – F: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and 5 -7 p.m.
- Sat. – Sun: 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
