Emergency Services
Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington Emergency department is an important part of our facility and community. Although a person hopes to never need to use the Emergency department, we want the community to be assured that we will be here if the need arises. Sanford Regional Hospital Worthington Emergency Department is a Trauma III emergency care department that offers emergency care 24 hours a day regardless of age, race, religion or ability to pay. It is staffed by a licensed physician, registered nurses and other support staff that can respond to all emergency needs. A surgeon and an anesthetist are also on-call 24 hours a day.
The hospital also has a highly trained ambulance staff (EMT's) and a fleet of specially designed emergency vehicles to respond to emergencies in the immediate area.
