Rehabilitation is a combination of physical, occupational, and speech therapy directed towards helping patients maintain or recover physical capacities.
Rehabilitation is often needed after hip fracture, stroke, serious cardiac events, accident or injury. It is also a part of the treatment of arthritis and other illnesses or injuries that cause varying degrees of functional loss.
