Patients and Visitors

Whether you're a patient at SRHW or you're visiting a family member or friend, you probably have some general questions. Where do I check-in? What about parking? Is there somewhere nearby for my family to stay while I am a patient?  We have included some general information below.  If you can't find an answer to your question, give us a call. We'll get an answer for you right away!

Admissions and Outpatient Registration

Located in the main hospital lobby, just inside our main entrance is where you will register.  To pre-register, please call (507) 372-3366 or register online.

Parking

Parking is free and convenient in the outdoor lot in the front of the hospital.  FREE valet parking may be available for those in need of assistance at the hospital main entrance.

Visiting Hours

SRHW recognizes the need family members and visitors can meet in the patient’s hospitalization experience. With providing quality care as our first priority, we have established visiting hours that recognize the patient’s needs.

If you have a cold or flu or are not feeling well, please do not visit for the protection of the patient and other visitors. Children under age 12 may visit a relative when accompanied by an adult. To make it the most enjoyable visit possible for the patients, we suggest no more than 2 visitors in the room at a time. We encourage patients to rest and we ask that you limit the length of your visit. Please be sure to remember to visit, call or email the patient once he or she has returned home.

General visiting hours are scheduled from 8 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. daily. Your compliance with these hours would be greatly appreciated. Visitors may be asked to leave the room while staff are providing care.
